solution_blue AMI Series 1: For Elastomers

Series 1 products are designed for elastomeric coatings. These products incorporate a dual-capsule system based on the microencapsulation of vinyl-terminated PDMS resins and their corresponding curing agents. The size and concentration of these capsules is optimized to leverage the ability of elastomers to stretch for a more seamless repair of damage. This product series can be used as an additive in various urethane and silicone coatings.

solution_green AMI Series 2: For Thermosets

Series 2 products are designed for thermosetting coatings. These products incorporate a dual-capsule system based on the microencapsulation of a proprietary blend of hydroxyl-terminated PDMS, silyl ethers, and various viscosity modifiers in one type of microcapsule and a corresponding catalyst in a second type of microcapsule. This product series can be used as an additive in various epoxies and vinyl ester coatings.

solution_yellow AMI Series 3: For Powder Coatings

Series 3 products are designed for use in powder coatings. These products incorporate a dual-capsule system based on the microencapsulation of proprietary blends of PDMS resins and corresponding curing agents. This product series can be used as an additive in various heat and UV-cured powder coatings.

AMI technology is flexible and allows us to vary microcapsule diameters and shell-wall thickness. This, coupled with the range of available self-healing chemistries, allows us to provide customized solutions for many applications.
